A Message from our Nippers Captain

We hope everyone is doing OK across our Nippers family. We know it's been tough with home schooling and lockdowns, but hopefully change and freedom is just around the corner!

Like you, we are watching the COVID-19 restrictions closely in the hope that we will be able to welcome you back to the beach soon. At this point in time however, community sports are not able to commence in LGAs under lockdown, and as such we will unfortunately need to postpone the commencement of the Nippers season.

With this in mind, we will not be taking Nippers registrations at this time, and we will instead make a discounted season membership available once the lockdown is lifted and we can get back to the beach safely. In the interim we will be posting some online activities on our Facebook page for Nippers to consider doing independently within their family groups to keep their skills up ahead of our return to the water.

We would also strongly encourage parents and members to use this time to complete their online Age Manager and Safeguarding Children course so you can help ensure Nippers is ready to hit the ground running. Our events can only run with the support of dedicated volunteers.

We are committed to keeping all members of the club safe, and we thank you for your support and understanding in these changing times.

Kind Regards,

Nippers Captain - Nathan Bourne, and the Nippers team
